The process of hand knitting, as well as the intricate detail of the Aran stitches, causes a raised effect in the wool, thus giving more warmth and insulation. Each sweater takes many hours to knit, making it the perfect gift for those that appreciate the craftsmanship that goes in to knitting one of these beautiful jumpers.
We recommend the sweater is gently hand washed with a mild wool detergent, reshaped by hand and dried flat. The wool may become stiff if soaked for too long or washed in water that is too hot. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
